About the event
The Malaysian World Schools Debate Education Society, will be hosting an event: "Conversations for Change", in collaboration with Viva Palestina Malaysia. This event aims to raise donations for Palestine and heighten awareness about the Israeli Occupation of Palestine.

Topic 1: We would punish for-profit organisations for exploiting the suffering of the communities they are seeking to help.
Exhibiton Debate by the WSDC Team Malaysia: Ethan Lee, Divvesh Kumaravel, Andrea Ong, Sim Yang Ming, Sophie Lau & Kayson Goh, followed by a panel session made up of Puan Sri Norma Hashim, Mr. Baha Hilo, Reverend Dr. Stephen Sizer & Mr. Afroz Ali.
Topic 2: Malaysia should legislate in favour of the Boycott, Divest & Sanctions (BDS) movement, i.e. not allowing the businesses to operate in Malaysia.
Public Speaking by the WSDC Team Malaysia: Ethan Lee, Divvesh Kumaravel, Andrea Ong, Sim Yang Ming, Manasvin Singh & Audric Kwan, followed by a panel session made up of Professor Dr. Nazari Ismail, Professor Dr. Saul Takahashi & Mr. Ashikur Rahman.
